My name is Maddy.  I’ve been working at Bush Babies OOSH since August 2020.  I have extensive experience in childcare including running my own family day care business for over 7 years.  I have my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and currently studying Training and Assessment.

I lived and travelled throughout the UK and Europe working as a nanny in my late 20’s.

I have lived in Emu Heights for 11 years after working in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney for many years. I live with my husband and 8 year old daughter.

Hi, I am Emma.

I am just returning to the workforce and is wanting to study in Children’s Services.

At home I have 4 amazing children of my own and so I try to bring some experience and at home knowledge to the Bush Babies Team.
My children range from 14 through to 5 and with so many stories about raising my children I can share many practical solutions that I used with my children.

Please come and say hello to me, I am very excited to get to know you and your family.

I have worked at Bush Babies Childcare & OOSH since March 2022, and I love every minute. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to spend time with all of the children, and I thoroughly enjoy being able to watch them develop and grow.

I am a local to Warrimoo and have lived here all my life, and I attended Warrimoo public school throughout my primary school years.

In my spare time, I enjoy bushwalking, bike riding, dancing and singing with my family and friends.

I have chosen to study early childhood education and care as I am an extremely outgoing person, and I love to get to know new people and help them out and guide them in any way I can. Working with children gives me many opportunities to provide positive guidance and assist children in developing their skills and knowledge.

For those who aren’t yet familiar with me, this is a little bit about myself, and I look forward to making even more connections with you all!

 Thanks,

 Daniel.

I am currently studying and completing my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. I would eventually like to complete my Diploma within the next few years if I have the opportunity to do so.

As the oldest cousin of 8, I have had quite a bit of experience with younger children as I always wanted to help and assist with the babies/children, this has then developed into  a passion and enjoyment when being surrounded by the kids, and I find it fascinating watching them learn and grow.

The thing I enjoy most about my job is forming a fantastic bond with the children I work with and watching them grow into lovely little people, as well as performing educational and engaging activities to increase brain growth/development and introducing vital skills and knowledge needed for their future in life and education.

I am currently studying for my Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and genuinely enjoying it.

I grew up in Darwin, Northern Territory. I spent most weekends fishing and camping with my family, which has significantly impacted my life, being a very family-oriented person. I enjoy walking, exploring new places, and playing with my pet bird, Johno!

My Mum is a teacher, and I’ve seen her passion, excitement and dedication to educating young children, and I aspire to do this.

I look forward to watching your children learn and grow and getting to know you and your child better.

I chose this career path because I believe it is essential to help shape and develop children into the best versions of themselves. I love creating fun and exciting experiences for all children to enjoy and be happy.

I enjoy reading, painting, crocheting and spending quality time with my friends, family and pets.

I look forward to sharing my creativity with fun and engaging activities and creating a positive and safe experience for your children to be involved in.

Hi, I’m Esther Mastersand I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have nine siblings, yes nine 😊 and being number 5 has given me the opportunity to develop certain skills and has inspired me to fulfil my dream to become a teacher.

I was a licensed primary school teacher back in the Philippines, and I taught 6-12 age groupsI came to Australia in 2010 and completed Cert 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care through TAFE. I also finished Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis from Western Sydney University in 2014. In 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Education Birth to Five Years through Charles Sturt University.

I have worked at Bush Babies since 2010, and it is safe to say that Bush Babies truly feels like my second home. I find this job very rewarding and love the many cuddles I get throughout the day from your children.  Research shows that the first eight years of a child’s life are a critical period for development and I am honoured to be a part of a team that provides developmentally stimulating, meaningful learning experiences and a nurturing environment for your children.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, bushwalking with my husband, Trev and of course being a Filipino; I love “karaoke” too even though I am not very good at it 😊.

Director/Licencee

I am Cheryl and I am the Director, I have been running Bush Babies for the last 25 years.

I have had children come through who I taught years ago, who now bring me their children to care for at Bush Babies.

The families and community really make me happy to still be caring for children at Bush Babies. You can find me mainly in the Office these days, however I do enjoy getting out to chat with Parents and play with the Children.
